DRIPPY 2.0's STORY

DRIPPY evolved from FUNKYLICIOUS — from playing with the fluidity and spontaneity of glass, blowing bubbles, letting the, material move without trying to control it. While living with some of those early FUNKYLICIOUS pieces, I noticed how the light moved differently through them as the sun shifted throughout the day. That observation became the question that started DRIPPY: what if I built a piece specifically around that effect?

The original DRIPPY came together over two separate two-day sessions at Holmegaard in Denmark. There I tested patterns, applied drips, blew them into bubbles and figured out what actually worked.

Several months later DRIPPY 2.0 took shape in Ebeltoft, Denmark, refining everything I had learned the first time around and fusing 24 karat gold, silver and rose gold leaf directly into the glass. I chose colors I knew would affect the viewer in a calming and positive way.

These lamps are not just sources of light; they are art pieces with a story, a vibe, that the viewer can feel as soon as they make contact with them.

Every wooden base is handmade and bespoke. Every brass fitting is custom made. Each one is special and unique, no two are alike. And I will not be remaking any of them.

DRIPPY 2.0 is a unique collection of art-light pieces. Made to make you feel.
